State Representative Matt Reeves (R-Duluth) is set to host two town hall meetings in Gwinnett County ahead of the "Sine Die" deadline. The first meeting will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Suwanee City Hall. The second meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Sugarloaf Korean Baptist Church.

According to Rep. Reeves, the purpose of these town hall meetings is to provide a legislative update, offer constituent services, and listen to feedback from area residents before the conclusion of the Georgia General Assembly’s 2024 legislative session on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

"Before my final day of voting this term, I will have heard from my constituents at six different town hall meetings and over twenty legislative updates with question-and-answer sessions," said Rep. Reeves. "Keeping in touch with the people of Suwanee, Sugar Hill, and Duluth has delivered meaningful tax relief, public safety, education, and healthcare workforce legislation."

Rep. Reeves has been recognized for his legislative accomplishments, including earning the Georgia Nurses Association’s Legislator of the Year Award for the passage of the Safer Hospitals Act. He also led the Gwinnett County homestead tax relief referendum in May 2024, the first of its kind since the 1980s.

The first town hall meeting with Gwinnett County officials will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Suwanee City Hall. The second meeting will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Sugarloaf Korean Baptist Church. Residents are encouraged to attend these meetings to engage with Rep. Reeves and share their thoughts and concerns on legislative matters affecting the community.
