The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Chairman’s Club Golf Invitational at the Legacy Golf Course at Lake Lanier Islands on Apr. 3, bringing together members and guests for a day of golf, networking, and recognition.
The event is one of more than 220 hosted annually by the Gwinnett Chamber to encourage business networking and growth, according to the official website. The Invitational provided an opportunity for participants to connect with peers and community partners in a relaxed setting away from the office.
Participants enjoyed favorable weather as they competed in teams throughout the sold-out event. After completing their rounds, attendees gathered for a post-round reception where winners were announced. The First Place Team included Mike Ballenger, Joe Godfrey, Jamie Hamilton, and Stan Walker. Second place went to Brett Savage, Ed Shaddix, Todd Townes, and Darin Wilson; third place was awarded to David Borah, Derek Rackley, Evan Sepko, and Greg Winey. Glenda Barta and Andrew Long won Closest to the Pin honors while Katie Gately and Eric Schurke received Longest Drive awards.
The Gwinnett Chamber represents over 2,100 member businesses as noted on its official website. It supports diverse small businesses within one of the nation’s most diverse counties and seeks to promote business development while uniting leaders for an inclusive economy according to the official website.
