Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson delivered the 2026 State of the County Address on March 6, an event presented by Amazon, Atlas, and Axis. More than 1,100 business and community leaders attended to review Gwinnett’s progress and discuss priorities for the coming year. The address was hosted by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and the Council for Quality Growth.

The annual State of the County Address is part of a tradition that has lasted 38 years, bringing together business and government leaders to focus on economic strategy, infrastructure investment, and quality growth in Gwinnett County.

The Gwinnett Chamber will hold its next major event, the Valor Awards, which honors public safety professionals in Gwinnett. Details about this event can be found at GwinnettChamber.org/Valor-Awards.

The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest business organizations in the Southeast. It serves more than 2,100 member companies across various industries and supports diverse small businesses in one of the nation’s most diverse counties (official website). The Chamber aims to promote business growth, unite leaders, nurture an inclusive economy (official website), and hosts over 220 events each year to encourage networking (official website). In 2023, it was named Chamber of the Year (official website).

“The organization is both Five-Star Accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the 2023 ACCE Chamber of the Year, representing the nation’s leading standard of excellence among chambers,” according to a statement from the organization.
