The Gwinnett Chamber has received a renewed five-year certification from the Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (GACCE), marking it as one of the top business organizations in the state. The announcement was made at the 2025 GACCE Board Development Conference held in Albany, Georgia.
“Earning state-level certification from GACCE is a distinction that reflects the strength, integrity, and commitment of our organization and its people,” said Brad Carr, Chair of the Gwinnett Chamber Board of Directors and Partner at Andersen, Tate & Carr, P.C. “I commend our Board of Directors, Chamber leadership, members, and staff for their tireless efforts to uphold the values that define one of the nation’s leading business communities.”
The Georgia Certified Chamber program began in 2011 to honor chambers that have evaluated their internal operations and addressed areas for improvement. This program encourages chambers to focus on organizational structure, service capacity, professional management practices, financial controls, communications efforts, and advocacy work. Certification standards are modeled after those used by the U.S. Chamber’s accreditation process.
Out of more than 190 chambers in Georgia, only four achieved this recognition in 2025: Eatonton-Putnam, Habersham, Newton, and Gwinnett.
The Gwinnett Chamber has over 2,100 member businesses and plays a role in economic development initiatives within its region. It holds national recognition as a Five-Star Accredited Chamber and was named the 2023 Chamber of the Year for operational excellence and measurable results.
