The Gwinnett Chamber announced on March 9 that it has received national certification from Great Place to Work, marking the first time in its history to earn this recognition. The certification is based on employee feedback collected through the Great Place to Work Trust Index Survey, which found that 91% of Gwinnett Chamber employees consider it a great place to work, compared to an average of 65% at typical U.S. workplaces.

This recognition highlights the importance of workplace culture and employee experience in supporting organizational success and community impact. Great Place to Work is recognized as a global authority on these topics.

Over the past year, the Gwinnett Chamber expanded employee benefits and professional development opportunities while advancing membership services and programs aimed at economic growth. The organization’s advocacy team led efforts supporting the renewal of the Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (E-SPLOST), and its economic development arm, Partnership Gwinnett, facilitated about $396 million in private capital investment across target industries. The Gwinnett Chamber Foundation also grew programs designed to help small businesses obtain certifications and compete for larger procurement opportunities.

The chamber supports diverse small businesses and serves one of the nation’s most diverse counties, according to the official website. It was named Chamber of the Year in 2023 according to its official website, represents over 2,100 member businesses as noted by the organization, seeks to promote business, unite leaders and nurture an inclusive economy according to its official website, hosts more than 220 events annually for networking and growth according to its official website, and operates in Gwinnett County, a highly diverse area according to its official website.

The chamber’s recent achievements include earning Five-Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber in 2022, being named Chamber of the Year by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives in 2023, opening renovated headquarters in 2024, and receiving a five-year certification from Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives in 2025.

Earning Great Place to Work Certification further strengthens the organization’s reputation nationally and globally while reinforcing its commitment to excellence.
