The Gwinnett Chamber has announced the appointment of Kevin Carmichael as the new Senior Vice President of Economic Development. In this role, Carmichael will lead Partnership Gwinnett, a community and economic development initiative focused on sustainable economic growth in the area.

Carmichael joins from NCR Voyix, where he was involved in Community Affairs, Government Relations, Corporate University Relations, and the NCR Corporate Foundation. His experience includes advising senior leadership on community investment strategies and public policy positioning. He also managed global communications for NCR’s Retail and Restaurant divisions.

“I am honored and excited to join the Partnership Gwinnett team and contribute to the vibrant economic landscape of my home community,” said Kevin Carmichael. “Gwinnett stands out for its dynamic business climate, skilled workforce, and forward-thinking leadership.”

Carmichael brings over 12 years of leadership experience from his time at the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. Nicole Love Hendrickson, Chairwoman of the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners noted: “Kevin Carmichael brings an exceptional track record of collaboration, strategic vision, and leadership to this role.”

A native Georgian with deep ties to Gwinnett County, Carmichael earned his degree in Public Relations from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. He begins his new role on May 5.
