Rep. David Clark, a Republican elected to the Georgia State House in 2023 representing the 100th District, recently posted a series of messages on social media expressing gratitude for law enforcement and reflecting on his experiences in Lumpkin County.
On January 9, 2026, Clark shared his appreciation for police officers and first responders: “I can’t say enough how thankful I am for the men and women in the Law Enforcement community. Including my brother-in-law. You constantly put your life on the line to defend and protect our families. So today and everyday, we are thankful for all that you do https://t.co/yvge0v8I3m”.
The following day, he highlighted an engagement with local political supporters: “Honored to speak with the Lumpkin County GOP. An incredible group of conservatives ready to elect a proven leader who puts people over politics.
Lumpkin County holds a special place in my heart. It is where I learned resilience, discipline, and teamwork at Camp Merrill, home of https://t.co/4HgkWf3WhV” (January 10, 2026).
Later that same day, Clark posted a message about helping others: ‘”Never look down on anybody unless you’re helping them up.”‘ (January 10, 2026).
Clark succeeded Dewey McClain as state representative for Georgia’s 100th House District after being elected in 2023.
