CITY OF SUGAR HILL, GEORGIA
CALL FOR SPECIAL ELECTION & NOTICE OF QUALIFYING
Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with OCGA 21-2-540, a Special Election will be held on November 2, 2021, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Sugar Hill City Hall, 5039 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia. The election is to fill the unexpired term of City Council Seat Post # 1 and City Council Seat Post #3. Candidates must pay a qualifying fee at the time of qualification in the amount of $108. 00. Qualifying will begin on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, and run until Friday, September 17, 2021, 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day. Qualifying will be held at City Hall, 5039 West Broad, Sugar Hill, Georgia, in the office of the City Clerk.
You must reside within the city limits of Sugar Hill to vote in this election, and all such electors are encouraged to participate. The last day to register to vote in this election is October 4, 2021. This notice is given pursuant to the instructions of the Election Superintendent of the City of Sugar Hill, Georgia.
