Lawrenceville
For City Council Post 3, newly-elected councilman Austin Thompson won with 659 votes, which was 51%. He defeated Katrina Fellows, who had 40% and 508 votes, and Edwar Aviles Mercedes, who had 9% and 119 votes. For Post, 4 newly elected to the council is Marlene Taylor-Crawford, who received 673 votes, or 52%, to defeat Bruce Hardy who had 619 votes, or 48%.
Snellville
Tod Warner received 886 votes for city council Post 5 to defeat Catherine Hardrick, who had 685 votes. Council Post 3 went to Cristy Lenski and Post 4 went to Gretchen Schulz in two uncontested races.
For city council Post 4, incumbent Nic Greene received 637 votes to beat Amber Chambers with 359 votes. For city council Post 5, incumbent Taylor Anderson was unopposed and retained the seat. The mayoral race was uncontested and Brandon Hembree took the seat.
For special elections in Post 3, Jenn Thatcher received 538 votes to defeat Tiffany Hale Carter with 497 votes. Post 4 was uncontested with Mason Roszel taking the
Lilburn
For city council Post 3, Michael F. Hart won with 469 votes, defeating Daniel J. Bollinger II with 201 votes and Calum Lewis with 84 votes. For Post 4, incumbent Emil Powella received 445 votes to beat Sherrie Villa with 277 votes.
Peachtree Corners
For City Council Post 4, Joe Sawyer received 1,300 votes to defeat Jeanne Aulbach with 886 votes. Post 2 and Post 6 were uncontested and went to Eric Christ and Weare Gratwick respectively.
Dacula
According to the Gwinnett Daily Post, Trey King received 309 votes to defeat Wade Anthony with 165 votes. For city council, incumbents Daniel R. Spain and Denis W. Haynes Jr. ran unopposed.
Auburn
According to mainstreetnews.com, in the City Council race there were two open seats. Incumbent Robert Vogel won re-election with 34% of the vote, or 138 votes. Taylor Sisk took the second seat with 33.5%, or 136 votes, to knock off incumbent Bill Ackworth, who had 132 votes for 32.5%.
Buford
According to the North Gwinnett Voice, for the open Buford Board of Education seat to replace Pat Pirkle, Kathleen Welch received 839 votes to defeat Lien Diaz, who had 205 votes. Incumbent Bruce Fricks was unopposed and retained his seat on the Buford Board of Education.
Chris Burge and Brad Weeks ran unopposed for the Buford City Commission.
