Max Fried and Adam Duvall have been honored with National League Gold Gloves for the 2021 season.

The 2021 Rawlings Gold Glove Awards winners were announced Sunday night, marking the beginning of the MLB Awards season. Four players from the Atlanta Braves were in the final list, among which Fried and Duvall took home the honors.

"Fried and Duvall are the only Braves so honored, with Fried joining Greg Maddux (10) and Phil Niekro (five) as the only Braves pitchers to ever win multiple Gold Glove Awards," MLB.com reported.

The award is the second straight for Fried, who led all National League pitchers with six defensive runs scored and and ranked second with six pickoffs, according to MLB.com.

Duvall ranked first among NL right fielders with nine DRS despite playing just 537 innings at the position.

The award is presented to one player at every position in the National and American leagues, MLB.com reported.
