The Atlanta Falcons have inked veteran receiver Auden Tate as the team's latest addition to their revamped receiver's corps.
Tate joins the Falcons from Cincinnati, where he was drafted by the Bengals in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL draft, according to a recent report on the Falcons website.
"We have signed WR Auden Tate to a one-year contract," the team posted on Twitter.
With Cincinnati, the 25-year-old receiver totaled 799 receiving yards on 61 receptions, averaging 13.1 yards per catch with two touchdowns, according to the report. During his four-year with the Bengals, Tate played in 35 games with 12 starts, though most of those came in the 2019 season.
The Falcons have also recently signed wideout Khadarel Hodge to a one-year contract, making Tate the second wide receiver free agent signing to the team in just a five-day span.
