Get Your Grub On

The City of Gainesville’s 2022 Food Truck Friday season wraps up this month with a final helping slated Friday, Aug. 12.

The latest six-course serving of Food Truck Friday kicks off at 5 p.m. at Lake Lanier Olympic Park, offering attendees a generous lineup of food and beverage trucks to choose from.

“Lake Lanier Olympic Park is excited to bring back our most anticipated spring and summer series, Food Truck Friday,” said Gainesville Tourism Director Robyn Lynch. “Look for great live music, a variety of food trucks and kids’ activities.”

The following food trucks are expected at the August event: Artisan Heat Bistro, offering fresh wood-fired pizza; Peach's Kitchen, offering a café-style menu of sandwiches and coffees; All Around The World, offering tasty world fare; The Inked Pig, offering classic southern barbecue with a new-age twist; Bill’s Grills on Wheels, offering American classics; Carniceria Tapatia, offering authentic Mexican cuisine with quality ingredients; Chattahoochee Grill, offering satisfying culinary creations; Paw Paw’s Peanuts, offering freshly squeezed lemonade, boiled peanuts and fried confections; Snowie Atlanta Creations, offering refreshing shaved ice; King of Pops, offerings frozen treats made with fresh ingredients and interesting flavor combinations; PattyKakes, offering the sweetest in mini Bundt cakes; Tap It Growlers and Downtown Drafts, offering beer and wine; and Juke N Jive Creamery, offering creamy, melt-in-your-mouth scoops of ice cream.

Six Foot Ramblers will take the stage from 6-9 p.m. to energize the crowd, getting them on their feet and dancing to the beat.

Other vendors will include State Farm, Relay for Life of Hall County, Northeast Georgia Speech Center, the United States Army, American Boat Brokers, Capriluna and StrikeOne Racing.

Those interested in making the most of their night out may reserve in advance private lakeside seating, which includes a table on the grandstands with seating for six.
