Atlanta Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna was recently taken into custody in Norcross on DUI charges and for a traffic offense, a recent report by FOX 5 Atlanta said.

Ozuna addressed members of the press in the Braves Clubhouse following the incident, stating that he felt he had disappointed some people.

"I disappointed my team," Ozuna said, quoted by FOX 5. "I disappointed my family. I don’t have anything to say more. It’s a legal matter."

Ozuna was pulled over and questioned after an officer reportedly clocked him traveling 90 mph in his Mercedes-Benz SUV in a 35 mph zone along Beaver Ruin Road and failing to stay in one lane, the police report said. At the time he was stopped, Ozuna told officers he was on his way to a Miami lounge.

In the police report, Ozuna also admitted to officers that he had consumed "three or four 'Presidente' beers," but he refused to take a breathalyzer test after being administered two field sobriety tests that indicated clues of impairment.

The Braves released a statement following the arrest in which team officials stated that they take these matters very seriously.

"The Atlanta Braves are aware of Marcell Ozuna’s arrest this morning and are still gathering all the facts pertaining to the incident,” the statement said. “Our organization takes these matters very seriously and are obviously disappointed by the situation. As this is a legal matter, we will have no further comment until the process is complete."
