A special election shall be held on November 8, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. To elect and fill the following City of Lula offices for unexpired terms through the first regular Council meeting in December 2023.
Council Member (District 1) Candidates are Tony Cornett and Mike Hinton
Council Member (District 5) Candidate is Duanne “Chip” Horst
Voting for this special election shall be at the regular precinct location established by the Hall County Board of Elections & Voter Registration, which is currently First Baptist Church of Lula, 5767 Maiden Lane, Lula, Georgia 30554, for City of Lula voters residing in Hall County and Banks County.
The voter registration deadline for this election is October 11, 2022.
Advance voting for this election shall begin October 17, 2022, and continue until November 4, 2022. It shall include Saturday, October 22, 2022, and Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at East Hall Community Center, 3911 P. Davidson Road, Gainesville, Georgia, 30507.
Absentee ballot requests will be available at the Hall County Board of Elections & Voter Registration Office, 2875 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville, Georgia 30504, until October 28, 2022.
If a run-off election is necessary, then the run-off election shall be held on December 6, 2022.
