Migos rapper Offset held his first Offset Toy Giveaway Dec. 23, providing toys to children in need.
Offset spoke to the crowd during the event, thanking everyone for the support, according to a Fox 5 Atlanta report.
"I just wanted to give back to my community,” Offset said. “Thanks to all the kids for always supporting me and always listening to me and always just being there for me, you know."
During the event, Gwinnett County officials presented Offset with a key to the county, with the Lawerenceville mayor among those thanking the rapper for his support.
While Offset vowed the toy giveaway will not be his last, he said he loves to see celebrities giving back to the neighborhoods and communities they come from and "do their best to make sure that the kids get where they need to go," according to Fox 5.
This holiday season marked the first Christmas for the Migos rapper, who hails from Atlanta, without his cousin, Takeoff, who was shot and killed in Houston in November.
