Dalton High School’s National Honor Society’s President, Parth Karande, was recently selected as a National Semi-Finalist for the National Honor Society Scholarship! It is the first time that Dalton High School’s National Honor Society has had a NHS Scholarship winner under the capacity of its adviser, Dr. Marybeth Meadows. Parth’s selection among thousands of applicants nation-wide shows his competence and excellence in the four pillars of NHS: character, service, leadership, and scholarship. As a result, he will receive $3,200 in scholarship to go towards his undergraduate degree at his desired university.

Within the National Honor Society at Dalton High School this year, Parth has opened pathways to numerous volunteering opportunities and fun activities for NHS members. His work marks a remarkable year and sets an example for future leaders of Dalton High’s NHS. He has also been one of the first ones at DHS to visit the National Honor Society’s Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. in January 2023.

The Dalton High School and the National Honor Society takes pride in congratulating Parth Karande for his excellent accomplishments as the Club President and his selection as a National Semi-Finalist for the National Honor Society Scholarship!
