Gwinnett County Public Schools have been awarded micro-grants by the Gwinnett Creativity Fund Project. Thirteen schools within the district received $1,500 each. The grants, facilitated by Explore Gwinnett in collaboration with Gwinnett County, aim to enhance arts and music education. They will fund performance programming and production materials, resources, and items such as equipment, art supplies, and instruments.

Aaron Lupuloff, Senior Executive Director of the GCPS Foundation, stated: “The GCPS Foundation's partnership with Explore Gwinnett and Gwinnett County is amazing. Both organizations embrace opportunities for our students, and the GCF micro-grants are a perfect example of their commitment to GCPS students. We are encouraging more schools to apply for grants so GCPS students can reap the benefits.”

The schools receiving these grants include Baggett ES, Coleman MS, Duluth MS, Five Forks MS, Grace Snell MS, Jordan MS, Lilburn ES, North Metro Academy of Performing Arts, Shiloh MS, Snellville MS, Summerour MS, and Twin Rivers MS.

Schools interested in applying for future grants are encouraged to attend an orientation session that covers application details such as required documentation and eligibility criteria. More information or scheduling for an orientation session can be obtained by contacting gcf@exploregwinnett.org. Applications are available online exclusively for Gwinnett County Public Schools through a rolling application process expected to continue throughout the year.
