Three schools in Gwinnett County have received grants totaling $150,000 from the College Football Playoff Foundation, the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, and School Specialty. Baggett Elementary School, Magill Elementary School, and South Gwinnett High School were each awarded $50,000 to renovate their media centers.

"The College Football Playoff Foundation’s generosity and partnership have made a significant impact on our schools," said Aaron Lupuloff, Executive Director of the GCPS Foundation. "We are grateful for their support in helping us improve our learning spaces and empower our educators to better serve students."

School Specialty contributed an additional $8,000, which was distributed among the three schools. This funding was used to recognize each school’s Teacher of the Year and principal.

"We are so grateful that these organizations recognize the importance of fostering a love for reading and discovery and the fantastic work our teachers do every day," said Dr. Guerlène Merisme, Principal of Magill Elementary. "With these enhancements, our students will have access to a state-of-the-art space that encourages creativity and critical thinking. This investment in our media center is truly an investment in our children’s future, and we are thrilled about the new opportunities it will bring."
