Gwinnett Chamber honors small businesses with annual awards ceremony

The Gwinnett Chamber held its annual Small Business Awards at the John C. Maxwell Center in Duluth, celebrating twelve winners selected from over 150 finalists. The event highlighted exceptional business practices and entrepreneurial achievements.

Nick Masino, President and CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett, addressed an audience of 300 business professionals. He introduced keynote speaker Dr. Randy Ross, author and CEO of Remarkable, who encouraged attendees to live intentionally with purpose.

Deirdra Cox, Executive Director for the Gwinnett Chamber Foundation, led the awards ceremony. She shared stories of each winner's ingenuity and success as they were announced:

- Community Contributor: StreetWise

- Culture Creator: Green Financial Resources, LLC

- Emerging Entrepreneur: Heather Bellew of HB Consulting Co

- Launch Award: Jefa Mom, LLC

- Minority-Owned Small Business: Lawson Personal Injury Attorneys

- Woman-Owned Small Business: Tabitha’s House, Inc.

- Veteran-Owned Small Business: Khamia Strategies

- Small Business (0-5 Employees): Long Table, LLC

- Small Business (6-24 Employees): Explore Gwinnett Tourism + Film

- Small Business (25+ Employees): SimpleFloors

- Support System Award: Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC)

- Founder Award: Chrissy & Sam Thomas of About Face Skin Care

“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and a vital part of the Gwinnett Chamber’s continued success,” said Masino. “We thank them for their remarkable contributions to Gwinnett and congratulate all this year’s finalists and winners on their much-deserved recognition!”
