Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson delivered the 2025 Gwinnett State of the County Address, an event sponsored by Atlas and Axis. The gathering took place at 12 Stone Church and attracted over 1,000 business and community leaders, marking the largest attendance in its history. During her address, Hendrickson emphasized Gwinnett County's dedication to expanding transit access, enhancing housing initiatives, and promoting business growth.

Hendrickson expressed her vision for the county: “We’re setting a new standard for smart development that encompasses community input so that we can develop within the character of our existing neighborhoods. We can be one even when we’re many. Four districts, each unique yet bound together as one community, with one purpose and toward one future. We are One Gwinnett.”

The event highlighted the long-standing partnership between the Gwinnett Chamber and the Council for Quality Growth. For over 37 years, this collaboration has been pivotal in fostering public-private partnerships that drive economic progress in the region.

Nick Masino, President & CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett, commented on Hendrickson’s impact: “Chairwoman Hendrickson’s leadership in infrastructure, service delivery, and mobility reinforces Gwinnett’s position as a key economic driver in metro Atlanta,” he said. He added that the county's focus on long-term planning ensures ongoing opportunities for businesses and their employees.

Michael Paris, President & CEO of the Council for Quality Growth, underscored the importance of policy and planning: “Strategic infrastructure and development initiatives are essential to Gwinnett’s continued success,” said Paris. He noted that this annual address provides an opportunity to reflect on achievements and coordinate efforts to support regional growth.

The next event hosted by the Gwinnett Chamber will be the annual VALOR Public Safety Awards on March 20, 2025. More information about this event can be found at GwinnettChamber.org/VALOR.
