Sion James, former Lanier High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Friday, March 21 in Division I NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament

On Friday, March 21, former Lanier High School standout Sion James’ current collegiate team the Duke Blue Devils won 93-49 against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Lenovo Center, this was the first game against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers during the championship.

The Duke Blue Devils’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 2:40 p.m. in Lenovo Center against Baylor Bears.

Sion James’ hometown is Sugar Hill and game position is guard.
