The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Zahra S. Karinshak, Friends for Zahra Karinshak, refunded $500 to Yassamin Ansari on March 30, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

According to the FEC data, the following reason was listed for the refunded expenditure: 'Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company'.

Friends for Zahra Karinshak refunded $1,575 total since October 1, 2019.
