State Representative Farooq Mughal has been named as one of Georgia’s “Most Powerful Business Leaders” for the fourth consecutive year by Atlanta Magazine. In response to this recognition, Rep. Mughal expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am deeply honored and grateful to Atlanta Magazine for recognizing my contributions as a ‘Most Powerful Business Leader’ for the fourth consecutive year.” He also emphasized that this recognition is a result of the collective effort and support he has received throughout his journey, pledging to continue serving Georgia with dedication and integrity.

Rep. Mughal's achievements place him among a distinguished group of business and government leaders in Georgia, including prominent figures such as House Speaker Jon Burns, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, and CEOs of major corporations like Home Depot, Coca-Cola, and Delta Airlines. The list also features former Governor Nathan Deal and former Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Leah Ward Sears.

Currently serving as a board member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Rep. Mughal has been commended for his leadership and accomplishments as a legislator. Notable achievements include receiving an A+ ranking from the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and minority organizations, as well as co-sponsoring several impactful bills aimed at supporting minority businesses, hospital workers, veterans' mental healthcare, and providing tax relief for residents.
