Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) students have been recognized for their achievements in the Junior Achievement (JA) 19 Under 19 program. Parkview High School's Mehrish Charania and South Gwinnett High School's Aaron Fields, Christian Francis, and Taliaa Pouncey were honored for their contributions to the JA 3DE Model.

Junior Achievement selects 19 students from a pool of over 100,000 statewide who exemplify the organization's mission of promoting entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and career readiness.

The honorees will receive a $500 scholarship to support their educational or business goals. They are also invited to attend the JA Business Hall of Fame Gala and will be featured in both the official JA of Georgia 19 Under 19 magazine and the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

JA organizes a National Student Leadership Summit for students aged 15-19, which provides an opportunity for them to showcase their business skills and leadership qualities. This competition is designed as a platform for learning and professional development.

Junior Achievement is committed to preparing young individuals for success in the global economy. Research indicates that alumni of JA programs are more likely to earn college degrees, pursue careers, and start businesses as adults.
