Gwinnett County Public Schools wins multiple NSPRA awards for engagement efforts

The Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) Engagement Office Team has been recognized with 12 awards in the 2024 National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) awards program. The team received eight Awards of Excellence, showcasing their dedication to public education.

NSPRA annually honors individuals and teams whose work positively impacts school public relations and education. GCPS's achievement of 12 awards reflects their commitment to excellence. Chief Engagement Officer Melissa Laramie expressed pride in their accomplishments, stating, “We are not just telling our story; we are inspiring our community and shaping the future. Our commitment to this work and our community is clear, and we will continue to strive for excellence in all that we do.”

The specific awards earned by GCPS include:

**Award of Excellence**

- Writing: Resourcefulness in the Seckinger Cluster

- Photography: Can You Believe It?, Summer Growth and Learning

- Video Series (Produced in-house): Blueprint in Action

- Video (Produced in-house): Connected, 2024 CTAE Student of the Year, I Belong in Gwinnett County Public Schools, Jenna Cloninger, 2025 GCPS Teacher of the Year

**Award of Merit**

- Video Series (Produced in-house): Coffee with Calvin

- Writing: Empathy in the Meadowcreek Cluster

**Honorable Mention**
