Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is seeking applications for the GEMS Oversight Committee. This committee, composed of parents, guardians, community members, and school district employees, is responsible for the annual review of the Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum standards. The upcoming meeting is tentatively set for October 29, 2024.
Following their review, the committee will propose revisions and additions to the Superintendent for adoption by the Gwinnett County Board of Education. Members serve three-year terms. Interested individuals are encouraged to submit an online application by August 9.
