Sallie Holloway, Director of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science at Gwinnett County Public Schools, has been recognized as a District Administration Woman of Excellence award winner. The award, given by the District Administration Leadership organization, acknowledges leaders who have significantly transformed education through innovative initiatives.
Holloway was nominated by Digital Promise for her commitment to innovation, strategic planning, and student success. Expressing her gratitude, Holloway stated, "Being recognized as a Woman of Excellence is truly an honor, and I’m grateful to the team at Digital Promise for nominating me." She added that she feels inspired by other women in leadership who were also honored.
Holloway is known for her advocacy for AI-Ready learning and CS for All. Her efforts have been crucial in promoting equitable access to technology and future-ready education. "I appreciate the investment in innovation and strategic planning to ensure we are preparing students for their futures, not our past," she said. Holloway emphasized her passion for creating and supporting programs like AI-Ready learning and CS for All both professionally and personally.
