Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is currently accepting applications for the GEMS Oversight Committee. This committee consists of parents, guardians, community members, and school district employees who review the Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum standards annually.
The committee's next meeting is tentatively set for October 29, 2024. After reviewing the curriculum standards, the committee will recommend revisions and additions to the Superintendent for adoption by the Gwinnett County Board of Education. Members serve three-year terms.
Interested individuals are encouraged to complete an online application by August 9.
