More than 30 bus drivers from Gwinnett County Public Schools were honored at the second annual Bus Driver Appreciation Luncheon in Peachtree Corners. The event was organized by the Peachtree Station Homeowners Association to recognize the efforts of Zone 038 bus drivers who ensure safe transportation for students throughout the year.

The drivers provide services to several schools, including Norcross High School, Paul Duke STEM High School, Pinckneyville Middle School, Summerour Middle School, Peachtree Elementary School, Simpson Elementary School, and Stripling Elementary School.

Elizabeth Kay Pinder, president of the Peachtree Station HOA, expressed pride in acknowledging the commitment of these bus drivers. “We love celebrating our bus drivers,” Pinder said. “We want to show our gratitude for their consistent dedication to our kids. They make a positive impact in our neighborhood every school day.”

Knuckies Hoagies, a local eatery in Peachtree Corners, supplied food and beverages for the occasion.

Images from the event are available on the GCPS Google Drive.
