The Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) Foundation aims to support students by partnering with organizations to provide resources across the district. The foundation receives support through scholarships, grants, and in-kind donations.

A key partner is The Empty Stocking Fund (ESF), based in Atlanta. ESF provides materials to teachers and students, focusing on Title I schools. "Thanks to ESF, teachers are supported with classroom supplies for students whose families may be struggling financially," said Aaron Lupuloff, executive director of development for the GCPS Foundation. This winter, ESF will also distribute reusable water bottles, educational tools for Pre-K children, and problem-solving books for gifted elementary students.

National partners like Inspired Consumer contribute significantly with over a million dollars in donations from national brands such as Bush’s baked beans and Sargento cheese. "We constantly redistribute these resources to assist our students," Lupuloff added.

At Lanier High School, Papa John’s pizza gift cards were donated for student-athletes in the football program. "Our school and football program serve a diverse community," said Head Coach Tyler Maloof. Local sponsors help provide meals before and after practices and games.

The GCPS Foundation also collaborates with local initiatives like Hope Thru Soap alongside Sugar Hill Church to distribute supplies to students and families.

These partnerships help the GCPS Foundation meet essential needs and support academic success within the learning communities.
