Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) has been recognized with the 2025 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA) for its employee engagement efforts. This award highlights workplaces with highly engaged cultures worldwide.

Superintendent Dr. Calvin J. Watts emphasized the significance of this recognition, stating, "It is an incredible honor for Gwinnett County Public Schools to be recognized as a Gallup Exceptional Workplace. This award reflects our deep commitment to fostering a culture where our employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to make a difference in students’ lives every day. Together, we are building a brighter future for our community."

Gallup's analysis involved data from over 3.3 million employees across 347 organizations in 53 industries and 90 countries. It identifies organizations excelling in employee engagement, which often leads to better outcomes such as customer ratings, profitability, productivity, turnover rates, safety measures, absenteeism levels, and overall well-being. Despite challenges in the workplace environment, GCPS remains dedicated to engaging and developing its staff to enhance its mission and impact.
