Collins Hill High School's media program has been recognized with the Judy Serritella Exemplary Library Media Program award. This honor, sponsored by the Georgia Library Media Association (GLMA), acknowledges library media programs that enable students to become critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skilled researchers, and ethical users of information.

"The key to a successful program is a supportive community, and we are so lucky to have that here at Collins Hill," said Amanda Fox, Collins Hill High’s Media Specialist. She added, "Our media clerk, Annette Witrick, is tireless in her efforts to support our students and staff. Principal Lee Augmon provides us with the resources, opportunities, and support needed to best serve our students. Our county media leadership team is an endless source of encouragement, and the CHHS faculty and staff are the absolute best collaborators and cheerleaders."

The GLMA is a professional organization focused on advancing school library media specialists and promoting quality education in Georgia's schools. It serves as the state affiliate of the American Association of School Libraries, which is part of the American Library Association.
