Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) has been recognized as one of the best employers for women by Forbes. The school district is featured on Forbes' "America’s Best Employers for Women" list for 2024. The ranking was conducted in partnership with market research company Statista, which surveyed over 150,000 women working at companies with at least 1,000 employees. GCPS achieved the 40th position among educational institutions and ranked 207th overall.
Cathy Hardin, Chief Human Resources Officer of GCPS, expressed pride in the recognition: “As the Chief Human Resources Officer of GCPS, I am immensely proud that our district has been recognized on the Forbes ‘Best Employers for Women 2024’ list,” she said. Hardin emphasized that this honor reflects their commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. “Our hiring practices emphasize equity and opportunity, and our culture is one that values diversity, collaboration, and growth," she added.
