Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is set to host its 8th annual Future Teacher "Signing Day" celebration on April 9, 2024. This event aims to honor GCPS students who plan to pursue an education degree after high school. Students interested in teaching are encouraged to attend with their families.
The event will include a scholarship presentation and opportunities for networking with college and university representatives, GCPS Directors, and professional organizations. Attendees will hear from guest speaker Jenna Cloninger, the 2025 GCPS Teacher of the Year. Educator-related scholarships will also be announced during the celebration.
Scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., the event will take place in the Board Room of the J. Alvin Wilbanks Instructional Support Center located at 437 Old Peachtree Road NW, Suwanee.
