Student registration for the 2024-25 school year in Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) will commence on April 8, 2024. Registration is entirely online, and after completing this process, parents must finalize enrollment at their respective schools.
Registration is required for all kindergarten students and new students enrolling in GCPS. A key requirement is that children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2024, to register for kindergarten.
To determine which school a child will attend, parents can visit the "Find My School" section on the district's website.
Current GCPS students who are relocating need to fill out a change of status form. Additionally, those who enrolled under specific conditions such as Residency Affidavit, Permissive Transfer, Kinship Caregiver Affidavit, Homelessness, or Foster Care will need to renew their forms.
Parents can view and download the 2024-25 school calendar from the district's website to prepare for the upcoming academic year.
