Credit recovery sessions for the spring of 2025 have been announced, providing an opportunity for students to make up credits in courses they previously failed with grades between 50 and 69. Students are advised to consult their counselors to confirm which courses are eligible for credit recovery.

The after-school sessions will take place in the Media Center on several dates: January 14-16, February 4-6, March 4-6, and April 1-3. Each session runs from 2:30 PM to 6 PM. Students needing to retake a semester one final must arrange this with their teacher by Friday, January 17, 2025.

To participate in these sessions, parents or guardians need to complete a form confirming their child's attendance. There is a $50 fee per course, payable through MyPaymentsPlus.com under Credit Recovery Enrollment. Additionally, students must set up an account at Georgia Virtual School using a personal email address.

Students will receive teacher support during these sessions and should be picked up by 6 PM. Bringing a snack is encouraged.

For further questions, contact your student's counselor or reach out to Danielle Turner at 678-407-7679 or Beau Pezoldt at 678-407-7677.

Courses available for recovery through Georgia Virtual School include:

Science: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Environmental Science, Anatomy, and Physical Science

Language Arts: Grades 9th through 12th

Social Studies: American Government, Economics (Econ), US History, World History, World Geography

Math: Algebra I & II (Adv Algebra), Geometry (Adv Financial Algebra)
