Students at Maxwell High School of Technology recently engaged in an Automotive Career Fair, offering them a practical glimpse into potential future careers. The event saw participation from industry professionals representing 17 companies across metro Atlanta, who shared insights about the automotive field.

Held within the school's automotive classrooms and labs, the fair provided students with opportunities to connect with representatives from various sectors, including dealerships, independent repair shops, parts suppliers, truck and equipment repair businesses, and technical colleges offering Auto and Diesel programs. Many organizations enhanced the experience by bringing swag, handouts, and vehicles for display.

"This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore career options, learn about earnings potential, and understand what it takes to enter the workforce," stated Max Chavez, General Automotive Services Teacher at Maxwell High School of Technology. "We want them to see that a future in the automotive industry is not only possible but full of possibilities."

The event exposed over 200 students to diverse career paths. For those passionate about cars and mechanical systems, the fair offered a promising outlook on their future prospects.
